Reading the data
The Llanquihue lake axis sets the tone: Puerto Varas leads, Frutillar offers the same lake for a third of the price, and Puerto Octay remains the opportunity shore. Away from the lake, Puyehue and Fresia show that plots under 700 UF still exist within an hour of Osorno or Puerto Montt.
Chiloé and the Carretera Austral
Chiloé island and the Hornopirén-Cochamó corridor have fewer published listings but the highest appreciation potential: the Chacao bridge under construction and the worldwide boom of the Carretera Austral.
